The “Looming Phantom” is an Animated Halloween prop made by SVI (Seasonal Visions International), from 2017-2021. It is a hanging ghostly figure wearing a gray robe with shredded gauze accents, with a featureless face and a lantern in its hand. The hanging version does not move and only speaks phrases as it's eyes light up, however a lifesize version was made that turns side to side at the waist while doing the same thing as the hanging version.

The hanging version was sold at Halloween Express in 2017 and 2018, and Spirit Halloween in 2020, and the Lifesize Standing version was sold at Menards in 2017, 2018, and 2019 (blue eyes), At Home in 2019 (red eyes), Michaels in 2019 (green skull), Costco in 2019, and Home Depot 2019 and 2020 (blue skull). In 2021, it was sold in Sam’s Club with a green skull similar to Michaels with a green lantern.

- This item may be based off of the Gatekeeper prop from 2011, as they both share similarities in their appearances such as gray hooded robes, featureless black faces, and both wield lanterns.
