Grinning Gertrude is an animated halloween prop made in 2009. It is a witch in a black robe and hat with a bone necklace and broomstick in her hand, and a distinct wide grin on her face. When activated, she turns her head side to side and her eyes light up as she speaks a scary phrase.
Trivia[]
- Grinning Gertrude was the first lifesize animatronic SVI ever produced. The Flying Witch was the second, also produced in 2009.
- In addition, Grinning Gertrude was also one of the first two svi props spirit halloween ever featured in their store, again, second being the flying witch.
- Grinning gertrude's mechanism was reused for Uncle Charlie in 2010.
